What moves pro power tools prices
Power tool prices depend on kit contents (tool only versus kit with batteries and charger), generation (Fuel, Gen 3, XR) and whether the tool is new, open box or used. Batteries are often worth more than the tool. Bare tools listed at a fraction of the kit price are not a deal, they are a different product. For outdoor equipment and generators, hours of use and included batteries set the price.
How to read this
The median is the middle asking price of live Buy It Now listings for this exact search, so it reflects what sellers are asking today, not what buyers paid last month. Use the 25th percentile as a realistic quick-sale price and the 75th as a patient-seller price. Anything listed well under the 25th percentile is worth checking for condition, completeness, and seller feedback before you buy.
