What moves sneakers prices
Sneaker prices are set by size, colorway and whether the pair is deadstock (never worn, original box). Popular men's sizes 9 to 11 carry a premium; very small and very large sizes sit under the median. Worn pairs price 30 to 60 percent below deadstock depending on wear. The eBay median blends all sizes and conditions, so a pair that looks cheap is usually a size or condition outlier before it is a bargain. eBay authenticates most pairs over $100.
How to read this
The median is the middle asking price of live Buy It Now listings for this exact search, so it reflects what sellers are asking today, not what buyers paid last month. Use the 25th percentile as a realistic quick-sale price and the 75th as a patient-seller price. Anything listed well under the 25th percentile is worth checking for condition, completeness, and seller feedback before you buy.
