What moves golf prices
Golf club prices are set by model year, shaft (flex and brand), loft, and whether the head cover and adjustment tool are included. Last year's driver typically sells for half of retail once the new model ships, which is why the median moves every spring. Iron sets price per set and by set makeup, so check the club count. Putters, especially Scotty Cameron, hold value best.
How to read this
The median is the middle asking price of live Buy It Now listings for this exact search, so it reflects what sellers are asking today, not what buyers paid last month. Use the 25th percentile as a realistic quick-sale price and the 75th as a patient-seller price. Anything listed well under the 25th percentile is worth checking for condition, completeness, and seller feedback before you buy.
